Lead Pastor
Kerr Howell Jr. serves as the Lead Pastor of Christ Community Church. Having served in vocational, bivocational, and pro bono ministry—including church planting—his greatest passion is seeing people made alive in Jesus and helping them grow into joyful, faithful disciples who live on mission for the glory of God.
Kerr and his wife, Meghan, live in Mandeville with their seven children. He holds a B.A. in Christian Ministry with a minor in Psychology and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Pastor of Student Discipleship
Kerr Howell Jr. joined the pastoral team of Christ Community Church in 2022 after planting and shepherding a network of gospel homes (house churches) in Spokane, Washington, for seven years. He now serves as Pastor/Elder of Discipleship and Church Engagement, where he helps foster a culture of apprenticeship to Jesus through discipleship, leadership development, and community life.
Kerr has followed Jesus since the age of nineteen and has served the church in multiple roles and states, including vocational, bivocational, and pro bono ministry. His heart is to see ordinary believers equipped to shepherd others and multiply the gospel in their homes, neighborhoods, and workplaces.
Kerr also serves as Director of Sales at Northshore Specialty Coffee, helps run his family-owned business Kerr’s Cleaners, and often works side jobs in lawn and sod.
Kerr and his wife, Meghan, live in Mandeville with their seven children (six daughters and one son). He holds a B.A. in Christian Ministry with a minor in Psychology and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
